Peace is a God-given gift by covenant. John 16:33 Jesus said “I have spoken these things to you so that you might have peace in Me. In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world”. This kind of Peace does not mean the absence of conflicts, but the recognition of God’s presence in the situation. John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”. Jesus was sleeping in the inner part of the ship when a storm arose against the ship. The disciples were greatly afraid of the storm, because they did not know who was in the boat with them. When they went to wake Jesus, it was not to quell the storm but to lend a helping hand in salvaging the ship. But when Jesus commanded the storm and the sea became calm, they were all afraid of Jesus.
You don’t have much money on you but you have bills to pay! When the covenant of peace is operating in your life, you will not be perturbed, you will have this inner peace that you know your God will not put you to shame. You have a target to meet but no capacity at hand, you see impending doom starring you in the face or you are afraid you will be put to shame for your faith in God, relax and receive the covenant of peace that will take you to your next level of answered prayers.
It is easy preaching this kind of messages when you have trusted God to this level. I personally can testify to God’s faithfulness in keeping to His word in our lives. Choose to trust God for peace against every storm that the devil is throwing at you and you shall surely overcome.
From today, God’s kindness shall not depart from you.
* Every mountain confronting you shall melt before the fire of the Lord.
*In your life, God’s covenant of peace shall not be removed.
* God shall empower you.
*You shall be far from any form of evil.
Prayer point: I receive the covenant of peace to overcome all storms of life in Jesus’ name.
